Applications are now being accepted for Summer Beach Lifeguards. The Lifeguard staff is responsible for controlling the actions of the swimmers and program participants, performing appropriate rescues when required and providing CPR/First Aid when necessary. The work will also involve providing a fun, safe and educational atmosphere for summer program participants. Applications can be picked up at the Village Center and are due back no later than April 12th at 3:30pm.
CYGW is currently seeking enthusiastic, responsible counselors to provide a safe, fun experience for participants at CYGW. Counselors will need to be at least 14 years of age and have had prior babysitter experience or completed the Red Cross Babysitter training course. Counselors will be assigned specific groups of participants between the ages of 3 years of age and 7 (or entering 2nd grade). Counselors will report to the CYGW Director and will perform various daily tasks such as cleaning, providing snack to participants and the supervision and instruction of youth.

The Village is currently accepting applications for the CYGW Director position for this summer. The CYGW Director must be available from June 18through August 17 Monday, Wednesday & Friday between the hours of 12:00pm-5:00pm. A limited number of hours are required prior and post these dates. Interested applicants must provide an application, resume and 2 letters of recommendation. Applications are due Thursday, March 1st and can be picked up at the Village Center or downloaded from the Village’s website.
Minimum Qualifications include: knowledge of program planning, leadership and budgeting, ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, ability to plan, organize and implement activities and events, previous experience in a responsible leadership position, ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of timesheets, expense reports and camp participation and First Aid/CPR/AED certification is required prior to the program start date.
