Camp Ya-Gotta-Wanna Director
The Village of Maple Bluff is seeking an energetic leader to join our summer staff. The CYGW Director is responsible for the management of Camp Counselors and creating a fun, safe playground program for children 3 – 7 years old. There will be a limited number of hours before summer begins for interviewing potential staff, meetings and developing the daily activities. Once the program begins hours of work will occur during Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays between 11:00am – 5:00pm. The Director will report with to the Recreation Director, while also having input from a 4-person parent volunteer board. Applications are due by March 12th.
Applications are now being accepted for Summer Beach Lifeguards. The lifeguard staff is responsible for controlling the actions of the swimmers, program participants and performing appropriate rescues and aid when necessary. The work will also involve providing a fun, safe and educational atmosphere for summer program participants. Dates of employment will be Memorial Day through Labor Day with a pay range of $10.00 – $12.00/hr. All applications are due back to the Village Center no later than 3:00pm on April 10st.
Camp Ya-Gotta-Wanna Counselors
CYGW is currently seeking enthusiastic, responsible counselors to provide a safe, fun experience for participants at CYGW. Counselors will need to be at least 14 years of age and have had prior babysitter experience or completed the SafeSitter or Red Cross Babysitter Course. Counselors will be assigned specific groups of participants between the ages of 3 and 7. Counselors will be required to perform various daily tasks such as cleaning, providing snack and supervision and instruction. Dates of employment will occur between Memorial Day through Labor Day with a pay range that is competitive for similar work. All applications are due back to the Village Center no later than April 10th.
