The public is invited to witness the Village of Maple Bluff public test of election equipment taking place on March 28, 2024, 3:00pm.

Before each election, the Clerk’s Office conducts thorough testing of our electronic tabulator to ensure accurate vote count on Election Day.

Following the testing, Clerk’s Office personnel securely seal the ballot box and scanner with tamper-evident seals, each marked with unique serial numbers. These serial numbers are documented during the public test. On Election Day, poll workers verify the serial number as they open the polls.

The Village of Maple Bluff public test of election equipment will be held at the Village Center, 18 Oxford Place, Madison, WI, 53704.

Public participation is crucial in upholding the transparency and integrity of our election process. Join us Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at 3:00pm to observe the public test and ensure that the Village of Maple Bluff’s election equipment is ready for accurate vote counting on Election Day.

The goal of the Village Clerk is that each eligible voter will be able to cast a ballot and have that ballot count.
