Welcome to the home of the Maple Bluff Fire Rescue Department (MBFD) online. The MBFD proudly serves its 1400+ residents by providing fire suppression, fire prevention, vehicle extrication, public education, fire inspections, water/ice rescue, and emergency medical services (EMS). The MBFD has four paid staff, but most of our services are provided by paid-on-call members and firefighter/EMTs participating in our Internship Program. Our professional firefighters and emergency medical technicians dedicate many hours to our community.

Our firefighters and EMTs are highly trained and equipped with modern firefighting and EMS equipment. Modern equipment, a good municipal water supply, and a well trained personnel have earned the Village an ISO rating of 4, which leads to reduced insurance premiums for residents and businesses in the community. The MBFD is an active member of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) Division 115, as well as the Dane County Fire Chiefs and EMS Associations.

The MBFD is always looking for new members. Please visit the Village’s Employment Page to download an application today. We’re looking for fire axillary members, paid-on-call firefighters and EMTs, and part-time duty officers.
