Parking

Overnight parking:

No vehicle shall be parked on any street or alley in the Village of Maple Bluff for longer than 30 minutes between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00
a.m. each day. In the event overnight parking is required, residents can submit an Overnight Parking Request to MBPD.

Overnight parking requests can’t exceed seven consecutive nights and are subject to denial if approval conflicts with village operations or events. Overnight parking requests that are not submitted at least one working day prior may not be honored, as staff require advance notice to coordinate and process each request.

Limited parking.

  • Parking shall be subject to the following limits:
    From 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., a two-hour limit on both sides of Lakewood Boulevard from 100 feet west of North Sherman Avenue
    to Kensington Drive.
  • From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a fifteen-minute limit on two parking spaces on the north side of Oxford Place between North
    Sherman Avenue and the entrance to the Village Center.

Temporary or emergency "no parking" signs.

The Chief of Police or designee is authorized to place no parking signs as needed to control traffic and parking within the Village of Maple Bluff. Vehicles are prohibited from parking in any area marked as no parking.

Seasonal no parking/stopping/standing areas.

  • There shall be no parking on the west side of Woodland Circle, from June 1 through August 31, between designated signs.
  • The Village Administrator or Director of Public Works may declare a snow emergency. During a snow emergency, there shall be
    no parking on the streets until the snow has been fully plowed back to the curb.
