Utility Survey

The Village of Maple Bluff recently distributed a survey asking residents to provide feedback about undergrounding electrical lines throughout our community. We had a tremendous response, so thank you to everyone who participated. However, after reviewing the initial results, we see that we may not have reached all residents. Don’t worry. There is still time to complete the survey. Please visit the link below for details about and to complete the survey prior to June 16, 2023. We want to hear from you!

The Village of Maple Bluff, in partnership with Madison Gas and Electric (MG&E), has developed a short survey about the potential for undergrounding electrical lines throughout our community. Undergrounding the existing overhead lines is one way to help protect our community from storm-related outages, such as those that occurred in June 2022. If sufficient community support is garnered, this will be the first step in a multi-year process.

Your participation in this survey will directly contribute to our planning and decision-making in the coming months. It will also allow us to gauge interest in contributing to overhead power line burial and ultimately prioritize improving the resiliency and reliability of our electrical infrastructure in the coming years.

We welcome and encourage feedback from each household in the Village. Please visit the link below to complete the survey. You may also print and complete a paper copy. Please return the survey to the Village Center (18 Oxford Place, Madison, WI 53704) prior to June 16, 2023. Thank you for taking a moment to complete this survey.
