Department of Public Works
The Village of Maple Bluff Department of Public Works perform a variety of vital responsibilities for our community. The Department operates the Water/Utility service, is responsible for management of Village facilities and maintenance of parks, storm water, and vehicles. They also perform all the required daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly testing of the drinking water system to ensure we comply with both state and federal guidelines.

In the Village of Maple Bluff, refuse is collected each Wednesday. Recycling collection is a contracted service with Pellitteri Waste Systems and occurs bi-weekly, on Wednesdays.
The DPW collects misc. yard waste, debris, and rubbish. Click here for more information about this collection.
DPW collects larger items such as TV’s, appliances, furniture, etc. Some of these items have associated fees. Click here for additional information.

The DPW oversees and maintains the storm sewer system, and all stormwater detention and retention basins located within the Village.
During the winter months, the DPW is responsible for helping to maintain safe, clear, roadways and public sidewalks.
The Village of Maple Bluff Water Department conducts monthly water quality testing.
